TATAGUCHI began with a simple thought:
the things we carry should move with our lives, not complicate them.
The idea grew from two generations.
After years of living on the move as a flight attendant, I knew what it meant to carry well. My mother, trained in fashion, brought over 40 years of pattern-making experience — a craft she had once put away as Taiwan’s garment industry moved overseas.
Years later, she returned to her craft.
This time, we made something together.
My ideas met her hands and experience. We made, adjusted, took things apart, and started again — until TATAGUCHI took shape.
